How much does an electrician cost? How upfront pricing works – no surprises

"That'll be about 200 zł... but it turned out to be 900" – the most common story we hear from clients after market experiences. We explain what the price of an electrical service really consists of and how upfront pricing works.

Why there isn't one answer

“How much does it cost to replace a socket?” – the honest answer is: it depends, and that's not an evasion. The price of the same task is influenced by:

  • installation condition – replacing a socket on a working circuit with earthing is different from discovering aluminium with crumbling insulation in the box;
  • access – flush-mounted box vs. built-in, height, wall condition;
  • materials – fittings for 15 zł and for 150 zł are different products;
  • travel and time – a planned visit costs differently than an urgent evening intervention.

The problem with the market isn't that prices vary – it's that the client often learns the price after the fact.

How we do it: upfront pricing

  • Online booking – in the booking wizard, you describe the problem, and the system immediately shows you a quote and available slots with specific times. No account creation needed, in 2 minutes;
  • Diagnosis with clear pricing – if the scope cannot be determined remotely, we arrange a diagnosis, the price of which you know before the visit; afterwards, you receive a cost estimate for further work;
  • Changes only with your consent – if, after opening the box, it turns out the scope is larger, work stops: we show you what we found and wait for your acceptance of the new quote. No “and then this and that came up” at the end;
  • Documents as standard – invoice, written warranty, measurement protocols where performed. Plus, liability insurance – in case something goes wrong due to our fault.

What else affects the final bill

Honestly: there are things that increase the cost and are not visible before work begins – bricked-up boxes, “creative” modifications by previous teams, lack of any documentation. That's why for older installations, the sequence works so well: first diagnosis with measurements, then decisions. You pay once for knowledge instead of repeatedly for surprises.

Larger works: instalments and stages

Installation replacement can be divided into stages, and payment – into 0% instalments (up to 20 instalments, via PayU, application entirely online). This makes installation renovation no longer an “unaffordable” expense.

Honest contractor test: ask about the price of diagnosis, the form of post-work documents, and what happens if the scope grows. If the answers are vague – you know where you stand. With us, you'll get all three answers before booking: check for yourself.
