How does it work?

Where does the outage data come from?

From public Tauron Dystrybucja data — we download it live at the moment of checking the address, so you see exactly the same as on the operator's website, only faster and simpler.

Are the checker and notifications free of charge?

No — this is a free service from ENERTIA for residents, businesses and institutions in Lower Silesia. You only pay when you book a visit from our electrician.

My address is outside Lower Silesia — will it work?

The checker covers the Tauron Dystrybucja area. If your address is served by another operator (e.g. Enea, PGE), check the outages on their website.

There is no outage, but there is no power — should I call 991 or ENERTIA?

First, check if it is also dark at your neighbours'. If so — it is a grid failure: report it to the free emergency energy service number 991 (in Lower Silesia, Tauron Dystrybucja answers 24/7). If there is no power only at your place — it is probably a fault in your installation: report a fault online or call ENERTIA at +48 459 566 991. The checker does not recognise my house number. What then?

Tauron knows the numbers in the form they appear in the electricity supply agreement — check the letter (e.g. 12A) and slash (e.g. 12/3). If the number is still not recognised, you can check the outages for the street on the operator's outage map (opens in a new tab).
