Installation Passport - one document that holds the entire history of your electrical system

A car's service book is obvious: without it, the car loses value, and you don't know what was done and when. A home's electrical installation is worth more than many cars, operates 24/7, and the law requires it to be tested periodically - yet its "service book" is usually nowhere to be found. We're changing that: with the installation passport.

Where is the protocol from the last measurements?

This question always comes at the worst possible moment. After damage - when the insurer's claims adjuster conditions payment on it. When selling - when the buyer asks about the installation's condition, and the notary asks for documents. During an inspection - when the administrator or inspector wants to see tests from recent years.

The answer is almost always the same: the protocol is somewhere. In a binder from the previous owner, in an email from four years ago, with a contractor who no longer answers the phone. Yet periodic installation tests are a duty under art. 62 Prawa budowlanego - at least once every 5 years, and protocols are stored for the entire lifespan of the building.

What is an installation passport?

An installation passport is a register maintained by ENERTIA of everything in your building related to electricity. Not a single protocol, but a living document that grows with each test:

  • Device register - distribution board, installation, residual current devices, lightning protection system, photovoltaics, energy storage, charger, generator or UPS - everything recorded with location, condition, and photographic documentation.
  • Inspection history - every measurement and inspection on a single timeline, with downloadable PDF protocols. Including earlier ones, performed by other companies - we add them to the register.
  • Automatically monitored deadlines - for each device, we calculate the deadline for the next test: annually (emergency lighting, fire protection devices), every 5 years (installation, lightning protection) or according to manufacturer's recommendations. We send reminders via email and SMS before the deadline expires.
  • Instant access - in the client panel on enertia.pl, you can see your installations, deadlines, and protocols. Log in with an SMS code, no passwords to remember.

This is the difference: a measurement is a snapshot of a single moment. A passport is a full inventory and care - just as measurements are a document, a passport is the entire building's file.

How is a passport set up?

With one visit. A technician goes through the building, records and photographs devices, and then performs baseline measurements: shock protection, insulation resistance, RCD test. A protocol is created from the visit - the first entry in the passport's history. A sticker with your client number is left on the distribution board: for every subsequent matter, one phone call and reading the number is enough, and we know everything about your installation.

From this moment, the passport works by itself: we remember the deadlines, you receive a reminder with a "book measurement" link - the address and service fill in automatically.

Who benefits from this?

Home and flat

Peace of mind in three situations where documents determine money: damage and insurer, sale or rental, questions from the administrator. Plus the certainty that the statutory obligation for tests "happens by itself". Details and price list: installation passport for home.

Company and property manager

PINB inspection, policy requirements, due diligence for rental - building documentation available in minutes, test deadlines for many devices in one calendar, and knowledge about the installation no longer leaves with employees. See: installation passport for companies.

Municipality, district, institution

Responsibility of the public building manager, entries in the building logbook (KOB/c-KOB), audits and budget planning for inspections of the entire portfolio of buildings - instead of emergency expenses after post-inspection recommendations. See: installation passport for the public sector.

How much does it cost

For a flat, the initial visit (inventory + documentation + measurements) costs from 599 zł gross. Homes and company buildings are priced individually - depending on the number of distribution boards and devices. The register itself, client panel, and reminders have no subscription fee: you only pay for actual visits and tests.

You can order a passport online like any of our services: reservation with upfront pricing - or simply call and ask a technician during their next visit.
