Where is the report from the last measurements?
This question always comes up at the worst possible moment. After a loss - when the insurance loss adjuster makes the payout conditional on it. Upon sale - when the buyer asks about the state of the installation, and the notary about the documents. During an inspection - when the manager or inspector wants to see the tests from recent years.
The answer is almost always the same: the report is somewhere. In a binder from the previous owner, in an email from four years ago, with the contractor who no longer answers the phone. And yet, periodic testing of the installation is an obligation under Art. 62 of the Prawo budowlane (Polish Building Law) - at least once every 5 years, and reports must be kept for the entire lifetime of the facility.
What is an installation passport
An installation passport is a register maintained by ENERTIA of everything in your facility related to electrical systems. Not a single report, but a living document that grows with every test:

This is the difference: a measurement is a snapshot of a single moment. A passport is a full inventory and care - just as measurements are a document, the passport is the entire file of the facility.
How an installation passport is set up
With a single visit. A technician goes through the facility, lists and photographs the equipment, and then performs baseline measurements: electric shock protection, insulation resistance, RCD test. The visit results in a report - the first entry in the passport history. A sticker with your customer number is placed on the distribution board: for any subsequent matter, just one phone call and reading the number is enough, and we know everything about your installation.
From that moment on, the passport works on its own: we remember the deadlines, you get a reminder with a "book measurement" link - the address and service are pre-filled automatically.
