Diagnosis from measurement, not guesswork
Power quality analysis for factories and facilities with automation
Voltage sags, machine resets, overheating, and controller errors can be symptoms of power quality issues. We record parameters during operation and identify the cause before recommending a solution.
We communicate the scope of the study honestly: measured parameters, recording time, and limits of competence – some machine diagnostics may require the manufacturer.
When to investigate
Symptoms of power quality problems.
- Voltage sags and fluctuations
- Resets, errors, and freezes of controllers or drives
- Harmonics from inverters, UPS, and power supplies
- Lighting flicker and uneven equipment operation
- Overheating of motors, transformers, and cables
- Change in installation behaviour after PV installation or new line
Process
From symptom to confirmed cause.
- InterviewSymptoms, devices, and changes in the installation.
- RegistrationMeasurement of parameters in a representative window.
- AnalysisVoltage, harmonics, loads, and events.
- ConclusionsCause and solution variants.
- ImplementationElectrical part after acceptance.
- Control measurementVerification of the effect.
Fairly about the scope
What we measure and where the limit is.
We record the scope of the study in the offer
- measured parameters and recording time,
- methodology and performing personnel,
- limit: diagnostics of machines, automation, and software may require the manufacturer.
If the source of the charge is reactive power, the appropriate direction is often reactive power compensation – we will indicate this based on the measurement.
FAQ
Questions about power quality.
How does power quality differ from reactive power compensation?
Compensation mainly concerns charges and the nature of reactive power. Power quality is broader diagnostics: voltage, harmonics, sags, and events affecting devices. We often examine them together – see reactive power compensation.
Will the measurement alone solve the problem?
The measurement indicates the cause and direction. The solution depends on the source – from changes in the installation, through filters, to cooperation with the device manufacturer. We do not promise an effect before analysis.
How long does the recording take?
As long as it takes to capture a representative work cycle – we determine the time in the offer, along with the measured parameters.
Do you do this in a production plant?
Yes – within the limits of confirmed equipment and competence. The industrial context is described on the production and warehouses page.

Describe the power supply problem.
Provide symptoms, type of devices, and when problems occur – we will propose parameter recording and the scope of analysis.
Our principle: first measurement and cause, then solution – with a clear scope and competence limit.
