Is the inspection performed under load?

Does the installation need to be switched off?
The imaging itself takes place during operation, but safe access and potential opening of covers require a procedure and authorised personnel.
Does thermal imaging replace electrical measurements?
No. It shows the temperature distribution, but does not replace tests for electric shock protection, insulation, loop impedance, RCDs or power quality. Treat it as a supplement to measurements.
